It's a bloody Palm Sunday in Egypt as the country's state
run media has just reported that at least 15 people were
killed by an explosion at a Coptic Christian church in the
northern part of the country during a service to celebrate
Palm Sunday
According to state-run al-Ahram newpaper, at least 42
others were wounded in the explosion at Mar Grigis Coptic
church in Tanta roughly 60 miles (96 kilometers) north of
Cairo.
The cause of the explosion is not yet known but in the
past, Egypt's Christian minority has often been targeted by
Islamist militants.
